This is Mike’s brother Matt in Baton Rouge. Currently WBRZ is showing a Coast Guard helicopter trying to pull people off of rooftops, however, there’s simply too many. They are saying there are about 1200 people trapped on rooftops, presumably just in the Lower 9th. Also, there’s at least one, and possibly two (hard to tell from the video) structural fires near the Superdome. Fortunatly, the water there is low enough that firefighters have been able to get there to try to contain the fires to the original building.
