The league is full!
P.S. - This will be through Yahoo! Fantasy Football.

I know we made an attempt at Fantasy Baseball this season (I can honestly say I haven’t looked at my team once) but I think we should give Fantasy Football a shot.
Let’s face it…Fantasy Football is much easier to manage than Baseball.
I was thinking of keeping it around 10-12 teams. I prefer Yahoo! for fantasy sports. I’d also want to do a live draft. We could figure out a time once we had enough guys (or girls!) in the league. The first 10-12 who respond are in the league.
So if you are interested shoot me an e-mail at marty.west(at)gmail.com and I would be more than willing to set the league up.

As we all know Apple released iLife ‘08 yesterday…and thanks to the glory of the internets it is available for download.
Some highlights:
- The new “organize by event” feature in iPhoto is fantastic. It took some getting used to but it’s really cool.
- My jampacks for GarageBand still worked in this new version. This is a good thing for those of us who use GarageBand.
- The improved photo editing in iPhoto is great. Unless you are a professional you really don’t need another program to tinker with your photos…this has it all.
- iMovie is going to be a lot of fun for everyone. I really didn’t have a whole bunch of time to mess with this but from what I saw I can tell this is going to take up a lot of my free time in the future.
I don’t have a .Mac account so I really can’t say too much on the improvements there.
So as everyone knows the new Harry Potter book has been leaked on multiple torrent sites.
Well I just couldn’t resist the temptation…
I downloaded the .rar of the PDF and I’m about 50 pages into it.
Why do I do things like this? I basically ruined the novelty of opening up my Amazon.com shipment and cracking the spine of the new book. Something that I have enjoyed thoroughly the past 3 books. Ugh.
P.S. - I spoke with an old co-worker of mine from Borders. He happened to pass the store we used to work at around 5:45 this morning on his way to work. He said the line was already about 20-30 people deep.

I would hate to be Michael Vick right now. I mean I would realllllly hate to be him.
His brother is a thug. He’s a thug. A huge thug.
And now this.
He is toast. And rightly so. The things he “allegedly” put those dogs through is despicable.
So I just finished voting. Here are some pics. Everyone have a great night!

Welcome voters!

To vote straight ticket press here.

Sestak & Casey FTW.

Voter turnout has been strong across the region. I have yet to cast mine but the majority of people I have spoken with have had no problems when voting. Few emergency ballots have been used but only due to the lack of machine technicians. At least no one has been choked. GO VOTE!!

Hello everybody… Marty here. PA is fired up for this election. On my 5-mile commute to work this morning, I saw 276 campaign signs, passed 3 polling places, and 4 different activist groups campaigning for various candidates. I am blogging from Pennsylvania’s Seventh Congressional District, where Curt Weldon and Joe Sestak are going head-to-head. My money lies with Admiral Sestak due to the recent scandals surrounding Weldon and his camp.
As most of you know, the race for the Senate has been a heated one. Everyone’s “favorite” Senator, Rick Santorum, is running against Bob Casey.
I will post some more as the day goes on, but for now it’s back to pushing papers. Happy Election Day, everybody.
