   Brendan appears to be a geek with nerd tendencies. The Dork Spectrum runs from Geek-Nerd and I place Brendan center-left of Geek-Nerd equilibrium.

   Weighing Factors of Brendan’s Placement on the Dork Spectrum:

   Geek:

   LotR, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Politics, Media, Law, Eccentric Sports Fandom, traditional Irish music/Great Big Sea shanties, letters written to important figures due to righteous outrage

   Nerd:

   Blogging, weather, astronomy, loyalty to computer brand, camera at the ready, cell phone modem

   Man, I’m gonna miss this blog.
