I hope he is back by then. That’s a nasty surgery and it comes with the risk of so many complications. My sil had a vocal chord surgery done. Fortunately, she’s fine, though it took her a long time to be able to sing again.
I had the opportunity to sit next to Dicky V at a Drays vs. Yankees game last year and the guy is a class act. Probably like most people we see on t.v. a lot of his antics are simply “for show.” He’s a great ambassador for basketball and raises millions for not only cancer research, but for a lot of charities in the Bay area as well.
