I don’t know how many of y’all watch Last Comic Standing, but this is one of my favorite moments from the season so far, and I was very happy to find a YouTube clip of it. The comic is Sabrina Matthews, and although she didn’t make the finals, I loved her joke about suicidal cats… and her quip about her own sexuality:
I love this show! ANd, like you, I found this bit fantastic! Especially in lieu of the fact that my dad detests cats (yet my step-mom has one, lol. go figure).
Eh. I thought this one fell flat. She had one a few weeks back that was amusing, where she was commenting on how it must be a rite of passage for lesbians to dress like teenage boys and drive big trucks. Unfortunately with only about 60 seconds to do a routine, she didn’t have enough time to really build up a crescendo of jokes, but you could tell she had a whole host of laughs up her sleeve based on her lesbianism and stereotypes.
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article Kitty Kevorkian, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
