I worked at a Sonic when I was a teenager. The owner used to thin out the mustard with pickle juice to make it last longer. It has a very distinct taste and I swear Burger King does it.
I just had Sonic for the first time last month. It’s always bugged me that they run Sonic commercials in South Bend, but there’s no Sonics anywhere around here. I have to say, I was a big fan of the cherry limeade.
Andrew,
We’re on the same page today. I hate those commercials with a passion too.
Davie,
Was in your neck of the woods the other day camping. Darn me, I didn’t think to call you up to meet for a beer and talk about the Huskies’ chances this year.
I live in Redwood City CA. I moved here from Texas 4 years ago. Each time I go home to visit, I hit Sonic and then Whataburger, in that order. We don’t have either out here. In-N-Out just doesn’t cut it. Brendan, you made me hungry. I guess this is why I’m moving home in December.
True that, Davie. Actually, a season with six or even seven wins (in spite of starting a freshman QB and the tough schedule) would seem to be discernable progress in rebuilding.

Hey Brendan, just a hint, this MIGHT be why you’re picking up a few pounds ;-)

What do they sell there, hedgehogburgers?

Is a Sonic a type of hamburger or a restaurant franchise?

I can’t stand the Sonic commercials. They take dumb to a whole ‘nother level.

Sonic is so good. Ocean Mist is the best drink.

Mmmmm, Marty, I agree. Ocean Mists were my addiction while studying for AP tests in high school.

Wobbly, i’d be happy with a .500 season given the youth of our team and the b*** of a schedule we have got :-/
Lisa, we get ads for Sonic up here in Seattle, the nearest one is in Portland!

The Sonic ads are annoying but they get your attention. That is what they are made to do.

David K: Joe Mama, give me some of your tots.
Joe Mama: No, go find your own.
David K: Come on, give me some of your tots.
Joe Mama: No, I’m freakin’ starving! I didn’t get to eat anything today.
David K: [kicks the tots]
Joe Mama: Ugh! Gross! Freakin’ idiot!
