Studying for Secured Transactions while listening to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack on my iPod just now, I came across a line in the BarBri outline that begins, “The Code provides special rules concerning…” and it occurred to me: How much more fun would it be to study for the bar exam if, instead of needing to know about the Uniform Commercial Code, we instead needed to know about the Pirates Code?

The Uniform Commercial Code IS the Pirates Code without making direct reference to “walking the plank” and parrots.
And if you want to remember what you’re studying, just imagine a pirate saying it.

I’m using Foxfire. On my screen your right hand url link list doesn’t post with the top of the page. I did a full restart just clear cache.

Everything looks fine now. I think it might have been a buggy Adobe update.
It’s not that late here in California, but in Knoxville it’s definitely TOO late to be awake! Are you shifting to Denver time ?

what about the law of the Wizarding World? (Harry Potter) I have been working on an article regarding this for some time now. This month is really getting me motivated but I am waiting for the last book to finish it. Right now its mostly focuse on T&E and Criminal law. I am doing the criminal part and a T&E lawyer is doing that part. Any other ideas as far as areas of law that could be covered?
