Congratulations Brendan for a Job Well Done!
Jim and I send you best wishes for your new career and hope you enjoy your work!
If I were giving a speech at your graduation it would go something like this:
I have known Brendan for the last 4 years. In that time he managed to
impress me with an array of talents that a man of his age can seldom posses.
Brendan is a true optimist without the rose colored glasses of a dreamer.
He is a realist with a sense of fairness and honesty that is so pure it is breathtaking.
Brendan is a hard worker, even when he thinks he is “goofing off” he is not, indeed
Brendan learns from everything he does and applies it gracefully to his life.
Brendan is a self described “Nerd” but I would never describe him that way.
I would describe him as a sentimental, loving person who has passion for life.
His passion is most visible when it relates to Sports or Weather but in reality it extends to
even the smallest facets of his daily life, how else could you explain his appreciation for cuddly kitten
or a babies smile.
I have no worries about Brendan and his wonderful wife Becky as they face this new chapter of their lives
because I am certain that they will embrace all the challenges and make a wonderful future together.
[…] It’s been 14 years since I graduated law school, and I still remember how tough those three years were. So, congratulations are in order to to fellow blogger and Notre Dame Law School graduate Brendan Loy. […]
