Yes, it was a terrible intrusion. As is the time I am now spending editing and uploading the video… how dare the Zahmites make me watch and blog about their activities! Heh.
I found an iMovie Plug-in called Hide. It works well enough, though it’s not exactly high-tech. Basically just creates a static black oval of the size and shape that I choose over the frames that I choose.
I’m working as fast as I can, people. :) Believe me, I don’t want to look at frame-by-frame images of naked men any longer than I have to. The things I do for my blog audience…
Brendan, please remind me how you ever convinced Becky to marry you! ‘Cause if she had known this was how you were going to spend your time, I’m pretty sure she would have passed. ;)
But, since I have a paper due tomorrow, haven’t started it yet, and am commenting on your board rather than working, I guess I can’t get too high horsey… oh well.
Oh, posh. If anybody is that upset by a little bit of “dickblogging,” they seriously need to lighten up. I actually got an e-mail earlier today from a professor who went to ND and has been a lurker on my site for two years. He said he and his wife both thought my previous post about the Bun Run was hilarious. Anyway, once the video is online, it will be surrounded by nudity warnings, and nobody is going to be forced to click the “play” button.
The glimpses of, uh, wieners, if you will (get it? buns…wieners…), are rather fleeting anyway. I like the video because of the general craziness of the event (people hooting and hollering and waving shirts around and such), not because of the body parts on display. If anybody is looking to do a detailed study of the male anatomy based on this video, they’ll be disappointed… it moves far too quickly for that.
Anyway, video’s done, it’s just a matter of processing and uploading now.

That said, I’m now trying to figure out how to edit the faces out of the movie, so it can’t be used by the university to get anyone in trouble…
