I listen to Stern every single day….he is on vacation this week….there is no excuse….and if there is anyone who would want hot girls around it would be him.
Dude, marty, you’re dissing House in favor of American Idol??? I don’t watch much TV, but if I catch House, that is a great show.
I disagree that any of the women have been that hot, once the New Jersey Barba slut got booted. Gina is eh, and Haley is decent. The black girl that got booted off the other week, she wasn’t hot but she had that classy, well-put-together beauty look to her. I thought the three most talented Idol competitors were probably also the three least attractive, and one of them (Chris, the fat guy) already got booted from the show. Here’s hoping Melinda and LaKisha, or LaWanda or whatever her name is, make it to the end.
I can’t believe Sanjaya, Phil, and Haley (even with the nice legs) are still hanging around. I realize Gina wasn’t a winner but there are at least 3 others that should go before her.
How fitting we should have this kind of insane voting on the cusp of another presidential election season. Is the Stern movement “Sanjaya for President” very far away?
The problem is that you vote for your favorite, so the mediocre who don’t stand out but don’t offend are the first to go; whereas the ones who stand out — even for being awful — tend to last for a while because some numbnut group of voters latch onto them (e.g., Sanjaya).
Gina was robbed. I picked Haley before I was able to watch the performances and I now think Phil should have gone. In what was supposed to be his genre he came up short. Gina did well in a genre that didn’t suit her. I guess the rocker fans took a raincheck on Tony Bennett week.
The bottom two should have been Haley and Phil. Phil should be gone.
SDI, I agree that Gina wouldn’t make the top three. I think the problem is that people think it hurts her chances of getting an album deal. The top three this year will probably get one anyway. Who knows about the rest?
Last years top four, Taylor Hicks, Katherine McPhee, Elliot Yamin and Chris Daughtry, all have albums. I think the only other one is Kellie Pickler and she lasted longer than the top nine.

I wish I actually cared about American Idol. Actually, I don’t.

Andrew….
Regardless if any of the girls are “that hot”…I would rather look at chicks for an hour if my girlfriend is going to force me to watch it.

Dude. How can you vote those legs off. I don’t care if she howls like a banshee. I have the mute button for the tv and the pause button for the tivo.
And what is up with that bald dude. He really gives me the willies.

If Sanjaya wins, American Idol will collapse into a vortex of its own irony. Everybody wins!

I think Gina went too early but, seriously, she wasn’t going to make it to the final three.

Brendan, I’ll pre-order a copy.
And I just found out Bucky Covington has an album coming out later this month. What’s that about? :-)

I’m sure some bar band needs a singer.

American Idol is one step closer to jumping the shark.
