March comes in like a lion
Posted by on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 7:05 am

There’s nothing like a random thunderstorm at 7:00 AM on a winter morning, that’s what I always say!

Details on the storm here. Close-up radar view here.

I blame global warming El Niño La Niña. (Hat tip: Fax Paladin.)

We’re getting some nasty weather down here in Atlanta today due to this system. I was awakened by a loud clap of thunder that felt more like an explosion or earthquake than it did thunder, as it shook the apartment for quite some time and set off many of the car alarms in our parking lot.

La Nina is Spanish for “The Nina,” right?

    LOL… yes, that’s correct. :)

March is coming in like a lamb here. Supposed to rain later today, though.
