I’m glad they pulled it out–after they failed to close the deal in the first OT, it took a lot to come out so strong in the second–teams usually fold after something like that.

WOOOHOOO!!!!
Once I realized I couldn’t watch it on TV, I decided to just go to bed and catch the score in the morning (i.e., now) since I had to wake up at 5:45 AM (i.e., now) and getting barely 4 hours of sleep didn’t seem worth it to listen to a game on Internet radio.
Nice to get the good news from my own blog. :) Thanks, David. GO ZAGS!!!!

Nice win for Gonzaga last night. I thought it was the best they had played that I had seen going all the way back to the pre-season NIT. Oh, I did watch them beat UT in Phoenix so I guess I’d say since then.
It makes me think they could be a dangerous team come tourney time. And if they could win out or even drop just 1 game from here to the NCAA’s, they could probably still get a decent seed (i.e. 6 or 5 seed). I’m guessing that’s about the ceiling for them in terms of seeding potential.
