Check out this incredible home video from Portland, OR showing some morons attempting to drive on the icy streets after the recent snow storms. Fortunately there appeared to be no serious injuries.

You do realize Brendan that the file I linked to IS Flip4Mac right? Microsoft bought them/contracted them now that they discontinued the standalone player for Mac.
The wife & I stayed home from work today and enjoyed a pleasant snow day.
Sadly, Oregonians (at least those of us in the Willamette Valley/I-5 coridor) are just not good snow drivers. We spent all morning watching the local yokels put all major Portland freeways into clusterfuck standstills.
The morning news was hilarious, as the Fox Good Day Oregon broadcasters were visibly peeved that the Portland School District took until after 8am to decide to close the schools.

Heh, up in Washington we had a ton of bad drivers in the snow too so its not just Oregon. I just like picking on Oregon ;-) To be fair though, i get mad when i hear people from Wisconsin/Michigan/New York/etc being all high and mighty about how much better drivers they are in the snow. Well DUH, when you see it as often as they do its bound to be easier, not to mention unlike Western Washington and Western Oregon, those states are all pretty much FLAT. The biggest problem here during the past couple of storms were the hills and such.
Pacific Northwesterners tend to drive passively and defensively; even timidly compared to drivers in most parts of the country, or the world for that matter. Sometimes that’s a good thing. Sometimes it’s not.
