Both teams’ seasons are over, so let the Carroll-to-the-Cardinals rumors begin continue.
In other USC news, the Song Girls managed not to cheer for the wrong team yesterday at the Rose Bowl, which is good, but, um… underwear? under where? Hey, if it gets us the “W,” I say the Song Girls should go commando at every game. Come to think of it, win or lose, that’s a great idea regardless.
UPDATE: Okay, apparently she just had a wedgie. (NSFW?)
P.S. USC offensive linesman Kyle Williams went through hell after the UCLA loss. He’s quite a bit happier today: “If I died tomorrow, that would be OK because I’d die a happy man.”

For the third year in a row:
If Carroll leaves the pre-eminent job in college football for the Bidwells, he is freaking nuts, and one three-year, 18-30 tenure later (with Leinart off to the Dolphins or Ravens), he’ll be at North Carolina or someplace where recruiting is a little harder than saying, “You, you, and you.”

Yes. Also, the Cardinals cheerleaders wear undergarments. Another reason to stay at ‘SC.

Why in the world would Pete Carroll go to the NFL? He couldn’t have the same type of fun anywhere but college ball, and as far as college goes, USC is one of the pre-eminent jobs. It just makes no sense…

Dude, that’s the lamest video ever. She could be wearing a skimpy thong and show ass like that.

Places not to coach in the NFL -
Houston
Arizona
Oakland
Miami
Detroit
Cleveland
Buffalo
I think the only job that could come open that would attract someone of Carroll’s caliber is Pittsburgh. Even the NY Giants and Dallas are dicey these days. Other than that, I can’t imagine him even considering a run at the NFL right now.

Okay, people, Carrol’s done a great job with USC, but he was completely helpless when he was the Patriots coach. I was upset when New England fired him, as he kept blowing games. As for Buffalo being a terrible place to coach, I’m not seeing it. The Bills did hire a spectacular series of horrible coaches after Levy, but Dick Juron’s turned things around, and as long as you’re doing a decent job, the fans in Buffalo will love you. We may be blindly loyal to our teams, but no one can argue about the loyalty.
