Blizzard buries Denver
Posted by on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 12:41 am

Commenter CLT rightly scolds me for my blog-silence on the Great Denver Blizzard of 2006. Long story short, thousands have been stranded, at the airport and elsewhere, after two feet of snow crippled the region at the worst possible time for travellers, right before Christmas. The airport, closed since Wednesday, is expected to re-open around midday today (Friday). For the latest news, visit DenverPost.com or RockyMountainNews.com.

Thanks! I’m stuck here in Colorado Springs where our airport only got 1.4 inches of snow! Unfortuntly, anything going out of COS goes to Denver. I’m supposedly getting out of Denver tomorrow night but I’m not holding my breath. Keep your fingers crossed!

Check out the London Fog. Amazing, and as bad on air travel as a blizzard.
