C’mon Logan, be born already!
Posted by on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 1:01 am

Becky and I talked to Shannon on the phone Monday evening, and I can confirm that she’s very anxious to actually have this baby. :) She has a doctor’s appointment later today (Tuesday), and as mentioned earlier, if she hasn’t gone into labor by then, they’re going to set a date to induce. Shannon clarified that said inducement date would probably be in about a week. So the latest possible birth date for Logan Middle-Name-To-Be-Determined Wanecski is sometime in the first few days of October. (Hey, October is a good month to have a birthday!)

The countdown thingy in the “upcoming events” box at left now says “Shannon’s due date: 0 days.” Normally, I delete countdowns once the date passes, but I’m leaving this one up until the baby is actually born, however long that takes. Hopefully, for the sake of Shannon’s comfort, it won’t say “Shannon’s due date: -6 days” next Monday… :)

Shannon and her belly, exactly one month ago.

Logan!!! Be born already!! Your ‘aunts’ can’t wait to meet you!

I say… enjoy these last nights of quiet.
    Enjoy yourselves as a couple.

The baby will be here soon enough and then life will be full.

    Enjoy your time alone together.

    I say run and hide………

That sounds nice and all Toni, but, uhm, with a big belly and the inevitable disconfort–as wonderful as motherhood must be–I am sure Shannon is ready to get the bun out of the oven pronto!! :) The time for enjoying each other was, like, 6 months ago, hehe.

Or perhaps 9 months ago. I think they were definitely enjoying each other then. :P Tee hee.

  6. Strabo Says:

LOL….Once she goes thru labor for the 1st time he can forget about ever touching her again…

  7. Alasdair Says:

Strabo - scientists discovered a while back that endochemicals which work to prevent short-term memories from becoming long-term memories are released during labour … sort of an endo-Rohypnol …

She’ll be back into her PJ soon enough after the delivery !

    (innocent grin)

She needs a biology lesson. The baby is lower. That’s her boobs not her womb.
