Nope. Cases don’t get “dismissed in favor” of one party. Cases generally get dismissed with prejudice (party cannot refile), or without prejudice (party may refile).
In any event, supreme court decisions generally speak in terms of affirmed, reversed, and remanded. Affirmed means they upheld the decision of the court below, reversed is self explanatory, and remanded means they have sent the case back to the lower court (generally done so that the lower court can fashion a remedy consistent with the Sup. Ct.’s decision).
As a mailprocessor, I occasionally see some good names in the mail. One of my favorites was a couple named Bud Light and Dawn Light. The only thing that would make it better is if her maiden name was Zerly.
