There are lots more cute photos where this one came from (today’s baby shower). Stay tuned!

All this cute Bay news is making me think about how Brendan will handle things when he and Becky are expecting their first baby.
It boggles the mind just how many details we will get. The birth will be like going threw it ourselves with live blogs and audio blogs and pictures and
interviews with of the OBGYN… I am personally very excited about the whole idea and am looking forward to the day of the big announcement.
Blog readers who have given birth will be asked to contribute to the blog while Brendan is in the delivery room.
If they decide on a home birth GOD KNOWS what we will see.
Hurry up guys have a baby!
Then after the baby comes there will be friday baby alerts… oh it is just to fun to think about!

i am 99% sure that Becky would veto any attempt to live blog the birth, especially with photo or video

LOL yes I am sure she will.
When I had my kids I did not le a camera any where near me in the last three months must less the birth!

I sat thru hours of labor with my wife and 3 kids, pocket full of dimes, coffee from a machine, till they told me i could get ready to show my new skillz at natural child birth, she had it hard with no meds of anykind, just breathing and me coaching her on. 2nd one was C-Section cause he went breach over night, i even got to be involved with that birth, he popped out of her belly looking like a salamander, cone-head free. One thing we never did was to know the sex of the baby, we wanted to be surprised.

Let me just say this: Watch out for a quiet and cooing baby at birth: They are at high risk of becoming whatever passes for a blogoholic in the next generation.
And if they come out with a full head of red hair, then you will KNOW.
P.S. Expect them two weeks early, and at least 8 lbs.
As to *blonde* babies, I leave that for Ginny to comment upon. :)

Leanna - “two weeks early, and at least 8 lbs.” - tell me you’re kidding, please … you *are* kidding, aren’t you ?
So if Brendan had gone to traditional 2 weeks ‘late’ for a first-born, he would have been about 30 ounces heavier ? He might even have weighed the 10 pounds I did when I was born … WOW !

Baby? That’s not a baby. It’s only a baby once it is born. Just read my opinion in Casey.
