CBS News reports a cameraman and soundman for the network were killed today in Iraq; correspondent Kimberly Dozier critically injured. Visit CNN for the latest.
This should go out to all of those Armchair Chickenhawks like Bill O’Reilly and Anne Coulter who chide journalists for staying in the Green Zone and not reporting the “good news stories” in Iraq. I noticed none of those fuckers have even ventured into the country, much less into a combat zone.
Actually, Mr BS, at least one - Laura Ingraham - went over to Iraq not too long ago to broadcast from there and visit with the Armed Forces folk … some pictures of it here …
Still, isn’t it nice to know the knee-jerks still are active even on Memorial Day Weekend !
So it appears Laura Ingraham was in Iraq basically for five days, primarily in parts of the country where there were few people and where you could stand on a tank without body armor - a fucking Green Zone. BFD!
