Just say no to Nagin
Posted by on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 3:31 pm

WWL-TV and WSDU will have live streaming coverage of the New Orleans election results tonight as they come in, according to WXNation. I’m not sure whether the Louisiana Secretary of State will have live returns, but NOLA.com will.

I’ll be out with friends, this being Becky’s and my last night in Buffalo, but if you want to know my opinion of the election, just click here. Warning: profanity is involved.

Yes & today Hizzoner made yet Another excellent point ~

Nagin, who cast his ballot during an early-voting period more than a week ago, arrived at the polling place in his neighborhood Saturday to accompany his wife, Seletha, as she voted.

He noted that another hurricane season is rapidly approaching and said there’s no time for a transition of administrations. “We don’t have a year to wait,” Nagin said.

Indeed. Why, somebody might get in who’d have No Clue what to Do. Can’t be having any Learning Curves, here. Stay the Course, Ray. :\

    AOL Poll:

Do you think Nagin will be re-elected?
    No 76%
    Yes 24%
    Total Votes: 24,952

Results reflect the well-known phenomenon of the AOL Readership’s customary Will/Should Conflation. :|

Looks like its Nagin and Landrieu, with roughly 40 percent of the voters slotting themselves in one of two columns: anyone but Nagin or anyone but Whitey.

  3. Mike Says:
