I am officially ready. For some reason, this seems to take the ladies a bit longer. :)

Today’s the day!!

Becky’s and my wedding and reception are from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM Arizona time (6:00-11:30 EST), and my friend Dan Seremet will be periodically uploading cell-phone photo posts, as he did yesterday during the rehearsal (see here, here, here and here). So, stay tuned to my homepage for live coverage — or, as I titled my e-mail to InstaPundit, “Blogger blogs own wedding.” :)

P.S. I just wrote the following in an e-mail to the DJ:

One thing occurred to me today. If anyone requests “God Bless Texas” or any other song that similarly glorifies Texas, please don’t play it. With USC getting ready to play Texas in the Rose Bowl, there shall be no glorification of Texas at our wedding!!

Heh.

Speaking of which, the background music for our grand entrance at the reception will be the Trojan Marching Band playing “Fanfare” and “Tribute to Troy,” followed by “Conquest.” I fully expect all the Trojans in attendance to yell “BEAT THE LONGHORNS!” at the appropriate moment. :)

If all goes well, however, the Notre Dame Victory March and “Livin’ on a Prayer” will be played later in the evening, so hopefully the Domers in attendance won’t feel too left out…

P.P.S. That reminds me… Notre Dame fans will be interested to know that, notwithstanding her October 15 bluster, Becky proudly wore a Brady Quinn jersey to her own wedding rehearsal:

Sorry, no Pick ‘em update tonight. I’ve got a few other things to do. :) But you can see the latest standings for yourself here. Too bad about Oregon; way to go, Utah. (I almost picked them, but then I couldn’t quite bring myself to do it. ARGH!!!)
