Variety says Peter Jackson’s King Kong is “the Return of the King all over again” and predicts that the film’s box-office haul “is destined to be huge — Rings or even Titanic huge.”
Pity poor Narnia. We’re only two days away from the release of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, yet King Kong, which is still seven days away, is swallowing up a good portion of the pre-release “buzz.” It’s like the 800-pound gorilla in the room, except that in this case, everyone wants to talk about it!
