To those who have been looking for the audio clips from the radio shows… sorry it’s taken me so long to get them online. Here you go:
From the Jay & Kevin Show in Spokane, WA, on Tuesday: you can listen to the streaming audio from their website here (my portion goes from 1min45sec to 10min30sec), or download an MP3 version here. Be sure to listen all the way through to the end, because they say some pretty funny stuff about me after the interview ends. (This photo is mentioned.)
From the Hugh Hewitt Show on Thursday, you can view the transcript here, listen to a WMA version here or here, or download an MP3 version here.
Also, I just recorded an interview for a podcast from Shire Network News in Australia, which is supposed to be available here sometime tomorrow.
P.S. If you do a Google News search for “brendan loy” OR “irish trojan”, you’ll find a few things, including an article that mentions Mike Wiser and (albeit not directly by name) my dad. Heh.

LOL Matt :)
My modesty is surpassed only by my overwhelming awesomeness. :)

Well, there’s the new tagline for your blog.

Mickey Kaus: “Loy’s blog for the past week is a pretty extraordinary document. It should maybe be in the Smithsonian, if you can put a blog in the Smithsonian.”
You have created a fantastic resource. This site and WWL’s blog are always the first two I check now. Just goes to show that a regular guy with a niche obsession and a blog can make a big impact, as long as he really knows what he’s talking about. Further democratization of the punditry is inevitable.

I knew him before he was famous, of course. (I said, nodding sagely at the crowd of adoring fans)
Pretty impressed with the entire blog since I started reading it the moment the mayor called for evac on Sunday.

Guffaw. Loved the comments on Jay & Kevin after you left too. “Oh, you!” (Ruffles red hair affectionately) It’s hard being a red head and pasty, no matter how fair the hair and how much you actually do go out in the sun to frolic, drink wine and listen to the sunny indie music of, say, ‘The Divine Comedy’.
I should know, I’m one too. Only 5′8 in this case. Props to you for being actually interesting in speech as well as text, by the by. Top interviews.

And a long time Zag fan to boot! I live in Spokane and work at Gonzaga so needless to say I was surprised and impressed to find out that you’ve been a fan since 8th grade. Your awesomeness is indeed overwhelming!

For the record, Brendan is actually extraordinarily tall. Not quite to the college basketball or volleyball level, but multiple inches over 6 feet, so the radio guess of him being 5′6″ is rather off. Their guess at his weight of 112 pounds, however, is considerably more accurate… ;)
