I meant to stay awake until landfall, but I fell asleep just after 1:00 AM. Sorry! Here’s the radar view from 2:37 AM CDT/EST, pretty much the precise moment of landfall:
I fell asleep also, so dont feel bad. I really got tired of watching it all, i’ve been told im being over-loaded with this negative energy and its affecting the way i feel…
Yeah, Strabo ~ that makes sense to me. I’ve felt the same way at times. Bet millions have. GOTTA get away from it sometimes. (Those of us, that is, Lucky enough to be able to Escape, i.e., not physically Impacted.) The other night I said Screw it and watched a great PBS Mystery thing for 2 solid hours. The plot was, in essence, a late-19th-century British CSI drama. :) It was wonderful.
“I fell asleep just after 1:00 AM.”
We Knew that, B. :) In the serene & sudden silence following “Eyewall hits land” your entire Fan Club :) could hear, in the Mind’s Ear, the gentle sound of your Eyelids sliding down to their celebrated One-quarter-open Sleep Mode. :> And we could Envision you in slumber, too, peacefully cuddled up to your Laptop. / It’s kinda Lumpy, but it Hums. (Apologies to “Hello Dolly”. :)
I was up around the time the eyewall made landfall, but all I could have added was what CNN was already saying. So I will stick with my traditional all-purpose explanation for everything meteorological: “Conditions.”
Mom
P.S. Glad you got some sleep, Winkus. You’ve had a tough week.
