Confirmed: an announcement is expected later tonight about whether ND will even play in the Insight Bowl. If they back out, it could result in there not being enough bowl-eligible teams!! If they do play, it’s ‘unlikely’ Ty will coach the bowl.

Intial reaction - how dare they?
Voice in Head #1 - well, they are the ones that got themselves the invite.
Voice in Head #2 - well they represent the whole school, so is it fair that the team gets to make a decision that represents the entire University/Alumni/other fans?
Voice in Head #1 - Well you can’t FORCE anyone to play…
Voice #3 (aka Softball Guy #2) - This is my big shot! If the team won’t play, ND should have general try-outs for the entire university. I’m pretty sure I can still run a 4.5 40-yard dash…ERRR make that 5.4
