Happy May Day, everybody! In addition to being a communist holiday, May 1 also marks a milestone on the calendar: with four months down and eight to do, we’re now one-third done with the year.

A couple of those are great, my number one pick was you looking pissed off at having flowers on your head… or something. I used up my other 2 votes on pictures with animals, but wanted to put my fourth vote here for you in the Cubs hat. Go Cubs!!!
That Cubs hat cost me dearly, let me tell you. When we went to the Cubs’ spring training game at HoHoKam Park, I forgot to bring a hat, and the sun was so damn bright (and so damn directly in line with my left eye) that by the second inning, I decided I had to buy one. Enter rampant stadium price gouging: THIRTY DAMN DOLLARS for that thing!!! Well, I figure at least it will come in handy while at Notre Dame — the Cubs are my second-favorite team, and I love Wrigley Field, so I figure I’ll inevitably go to a few games.
