  1. Sean Vivier Says:

Yes, very merry atheistic Christmas greetings to you all. (Yes, I’m the one atheist in the country who isn’t offended to be wished a merry Christmas.) Happy Hanukkah. Joyful Kwanzaa. Splendid Solstice. Marvelous Mrzh. Felix Saturnalia. And Happy Birthday, Mithras.

  2. The Buddha Says:

“Marvelous Mrzh.” Mrmph?? Got me there, gotta look that one up.

“Felix Saturnalia.” That one I know. 6th grade, Wheeler School, Plainville CT. He kicked me in the arse for riding my bike around in my Zorro costume. Good old Felix. :)

    Happy Rational Holidays, Sean. :)

  3. Keri Says:

    Merry Christmas =o)

  4. Sean Vivier Says:

I only learned Mrzh a few days ago myself. It’s a Canaanite festival for the dead, apparently. (Dark and cold winters are kinda like death; get it?)

Saturnalia was the Roman festival of gift-giving and orgies. Hence gift-giving during Christmas. Felix is Latin for happy. (Just hope I got the right form.)

Say, isn’t it time to put the Saturn back in Saturnalia?

  5. Joe Loy Says:

“Say, isn’t it time to put the Saturn back in Saturnalia?” LOL!!! excellent, sir. :)

But can we similarly save the fallen-away Shi’ite?
