Well, Glenn did link to my blackout pics. Woohoo! I’m still going to take my blog holiday (or quasi-holiday), and I’m not going to obsess over my statistics all day like I usually do when I get an InstaBoost, but I’ve gotta at least post an initial update. :)

This is my fourth InstaBoost ever (hence the roman numerals in the title) and my second this month! This one isn’t producing quite the traffic avalanche (or “InstaLanche,” as one blogger put it) that links from the Professor usually do, however, probably because it’s a Sunday — Glenn’s traffic is always lower on weekends — and a beautiful Sunday at that (on the East Coast at least), so people are outside instead of online… just like I’m going to be shortly!

So, instead of several hundred hits per hour, so far I’m averaging about 30 or 40. Still, that’s quite a lot, and it’s nice to know that my blackout coverage will be seen, and hopefully appreciated, by more than just a few dozen people.

Also, my “page views” — the number of individual pages viewed (purple on the chart) — are way up, meaning people are actually clicking on individual photos and looking at them. So that’s cool.
