We are at HSBC Arena in Buffalo for the American Idols Live concert. Surrounded by teenyboppers! Aaaah!

They’re hooting and hollering in the next room over — well, Mrs. Zak is, anyway — because Davis Love III, a household favorite, is doing well at the British Open. Judging by the screams of joy, I think he just made an important putt or something. Meanwhile, Dr. Zak just said there is only one player under par now.

Two days ago, the Zaks got a bid on their Amherst, NY home — which they’re selling so they can move full-time to Arizona, starting this fall — and today the house inspector came to check everything out, to see what works and what doesn’t. Apparently the home passed with flying colors.

Becky’s parents aren’t the only ones in the family doing major real-estate transactions. Last month, Becky picked out a townhouse in Mesa, Arizona, and she’ll be closing on it in just 12 days, on July 31. (That’s why we’re driving out to Phoenix next week.)

Becky took some digital pictures of the house when she first toured it in June. I haven’t had a chance to post any of them until now, but here are a few samples (in link form).

Becky’s parents, who hadn’t previously been, um, introduced to Becky’s tattoo (though they knew she was planning to get one eventually), apparently just discovered the pictures on the website. :)
