My Dell laptop has apparently been resurrected yet again; I’m supposed to get it back from the repair shop tomorrow. Meanwhile, also tomorrow, AT&T is supposed to hook up the phone line in the Manhattan apartment. So, if all goes as planned, you may soon begin seeing a few more non-cell-phone blog posts.

Then again, blogging doesn’t have nearly as much appeal when it’s summer and thus I can’t use it to procrastinate school work… :)

No Return of the King trailer until September??? Oh, no!!!

Let’s see: the New Line Cinema movies coming out during that time period are Freddy vs. Jason, on Aug. 15, and Second Hand Lions, on Sept. 26.

Happy Birthday, Becky! (I just arrived in Buffalo.)

In the last two days, two different total strangers have told me that I remind them of American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken.

I’m hardly Clay’s spitting image, but yeah, I can see it. Can’t you? I mean, Clay has been described as “hero of skinny white guys everywhere,” and I’m a skinny white guy — with hair that tends to nerdily stick up, no less! — so, really, it was only a matter of time until someone noticed.

In fact, it was because of the alleged resemblance that Becky rooted so fervently for Clay and developed such a crush on him. (At least that’s what she claims her reason was. Harrumph.)

Anyway, I think it’s kind of neat. For the first time in my entire life, people are telling me I look like a celebrity!

Now then, given that I’m presently single, the real question is, will my resemblance to the nerd-heartthrob help my love life? :)

To those who have emailed or commented seeking info on how I make this moblog work, I will gladly reply as soon as I get a chance to stop at a library or a Kinkos. Right now I’m on a bus in Staten Island. :)
