The Supreme Court’s decision on the constitutionality of sodomy laws should be arriving any day now. (I posted on this topic, and had a hearty debate with some commenters, in April.)
Whichever way the decision goes, it will surely have a big impact on the mood of Sunday’s huge gay-pride parade in New York City — which, by the way, I’m planning to go to. Becky and her friend Shannon are coming to town, and we want to watch the festivities. (Hey! We’re straight, but not narrow!)

There might be a funny-looking rocket trail in the sky over the East Coast on Tuesday night:
NASA is launching rockets from Virginia and releasing a harmless chemical to study winds in the ionosphere. Naturally, SpaceWeather.com has the full story.
The launch, which was scheduled for Monday evening but has now been postponed, could take place anytime between 9:30 PM and 5:00 AM. Or, it could be postponed again. For details, visit this website or call 757-824-2050 for a recorded message.
Target in New Britain is all out of Order of the Phoenix. It sold five million copies on Saturday, more than twice as many as last year’s hardcover best-seller sold all year!

I’m back in Connecticut. Later on, I’ll post my picture of the burned-out car on the Tappan Zee Bridge, as well as photos from Josh’s wedding. Right now, however, I’m off to hang out with Jen — who, by the way, just got herself a new apartment in Glastonbury! She’s moving in on Thursday. Yay, Jen!

So, when does the next one come out? :)

Correction to an earlier post: I’m in Pikesville, MD, not Silver Spring, MD.
In other news, I just finished Chapter 29 out of 38 in Harry Potter. That’s 675 pages (out of 870) in under 24 hours. But, I think I might go to bed now. I’m a bit sleepy.
