I’m blogging from a public library in Midtown Manhattan; I have limited time. But I wanted to post a few things.

About media organizations who keep reprinting the Guardian’s retracted Paul Wolfowitz “quote”: “This is how political myths begin.” Yup. I suspect my liberal friends will be repeating that “quote” as fact for months or years.

About Bush’s WMD “lies”: Right Wing News has a long list of people who apparently also lied. Yeah, yeah, I know, the source is “Right Wing News” — but that doesn’t make the quotes fake. (Now, quotes in the Guardian and the New York Times, on the other hand… heh.)

And finally, about outer space: There have been three major solar flares in the last three days, which means there could be Northern lights during the next few nights. SpaceWeather.com, of course, has the latest, including this very cool shortwave-radio chart showing the radio blackout that occurred after today’s flare:
