87Brian Neudorff283Rochester, NYPurdue University... May 2001I know Brendan and Becky through Brendan's blog and have been a guest blogger for Brendan especially during hurricane season. My wife Trish and I met Brendan and Becky last fall.Die hard Purdue Boilermaker. For four years at Purdue was a member of the Boiler Brass which is the men's basketball band. Went to almost EVERY NCAA Tourny game and site with the Purdue Boilermakers from 97 through 00, but didn't get to go and watch Purdue beat Gonzaga in 2000. During my time at Purdue, we did a cheer that caused Bobby Knight to glare at us and give us nasty look. Also 99 when the Purdue's Women team won the National Championship. During a regular season game in Bloomington after beating IU we rushed the floor and formed a Block P on the court of Assembly Hall.

And one question - Did you add that "full biography not required" part just for me? ;)

204Mike Wiser223MikeLansing, MIUSC (2003), Stanford (2006), MSU (2011?) in chronological orderI met Brendan at East Coast Orientation. I met Becky there as well. They also met each other there, but don't remember that. I then lived two doors down from him in Trojan Hall, and attended all 4 of his USC Christmas Lighting Ceremonies. And, well, his wedding, but more people can claim that.Though I was not an NCAA athlete myself, on the fencing team at USC I had to compete against NCAA athletes, as half the teams in our league were NCAA. I even beat a couple of them, due to my high level of inexperience causing me to react unpredictably.

As far as picks, my goal as always is to beat Brendan's pets. I fully expect my bracket to implode, as I don't know much about the teams involved and have made some foolish loyalty picks. I also have a strong preference for teams with good academic reputations. I keep joking that one of these years I'm going to enter the Antichrist bracket, where all religious schools lose early and all schools at the forefronts of evolutionary biology and stem cell research do very well.

Trojan Hall, Freshman year, 1999. wow, we're old. Um, I live in Yemen. That's a country. South of Saudi Arabia. One of the poorest in the world. I live in Sana'a, which is the oldest continually inhabited city in the world. And really, it hasn't changed much.
Also, I pick Connecticut to win every year. They never seem to. Otherwise, I pick based on names I like (Gonzaga!) or that have some relevance to my life (Georgetown= George Town = My uncle).
