This isn’t technically DU-related, but over on The Living Room Times, I’m liveblogging a basketball road trip to Laramie and (hopefully) Fort Collins with the Pioneer Pulse mascot, DU Bally, and me. Tune in!

The official mascot of Pioneer Pulse is a stuffed basketball named DU Bally. He's painted in DU colors, and has a "D" for Denver on his back. DU Bally is the first cousin, twice removed, of Bally B. Basketball, who is the mascot of Kyle Whelliston's Mid-Majority. There are more than a hundred such stuffed basketballs floating around the country, owned by fans of Whelliston's site.
