Technically it’s a “March & Parade,” hence “Marade.” However I believe that’s a reverse-engineered linguistic justification for calling it a “Marade” in reference to “Martin Luther King.”

@Brendan = Marade is about the dumbest word i’ve heard in a looooong time. The city of Denver should be ashamed of themselves, and not just for the Broncos this time.

I’m not sure if it’s a Denver invention. Admittedly, when you Google “Marade,” most of the resulting links are Denver-related, but that may be because ours is the largest (which it is); not sure if it was the first. And hey, here’s one from Utah! So, uh, I blame the Mormons. :)
