I bought this up to my state delegates, and one of them got back to me saying she agreed this was a problem (not sure if you’ve read up on how Maryland is all party consent and judges, shockingly, have been backing police in stopping people from taping in the streets) and she intends to bring it up in the next legislative session (sadly not until January).
