The movie studio that made Downfall, the film that launched a thousand Hilter parody videos (previous posts here, here and here), is abusing copyright law by yanking the videos off YouTube. (Fair use, anyone?!?) Naturally, Hitler is not happy about this:

LOL!

(Warning: profanity in the subtitles, as per usual. … Hat tip: Outside the Beltway.)

Five days after Tea Partiers rallied at the State Capitol building in Denver, a very different kind of protest/party took place in the same spot two days ago, Tuesday, 4/20. If the date doesn’t clue you in, you can divine the difference from the cloud of hazy smoke above their heads. It’s not a Tea Party, it’s a Weed Party:

The effect was even more extreme in Boulder:

RT @slmandel: Do you think the whole 96-team scare was just an NCAA ruse so that we’d celebrate, not complain, about 68? If so, well played, NCAA.

RT @slmandel: Logistically, it would have been near-impossible to go to 96 with one year’s notice. My guess is it happen in ‘12

RT @aglock It’s the same bribe non-BCS football teams took to get extra meaningless BCS bowl. Some cash for their screwage. @midmajority

Re: 68-team tourney and “play-in ghetto,” @midmajority points out that mids will get 3 more win shares now. True. All about the Benjamins.

Test tweeting from “new” phone. It’s a Sanyo 8200, so technically a downgrade — but unlike the 8300, it can tether! :) No Gmail app, tho.

NCAA expands to 68, not 96, at least for now. All current #16 seeds, and 3 of 4 current #15s, go to playin games. Low-majors screwed. Again.
