What Florida-Ohio State 2007 was for the Big Ten, Florida-Cincinnati 2010 will be for the Big East. Fair? No. True? Yes.

I wish Urban Meyer the best hen it comes to his health but between his handling if the eye gouge earlier this season and the fact that he left Tebow in AND is calling big plays this late in the game with the lead he has I think he’s a jerk.
As I told Brendan on Twitter, I wonder if this reputation hit will make Big East teams more suceptible to overatures from the Big Eleven. Espicially those schools which have football asperations (WVU, maybe Pitt, Rutgers seem to be the type). The Big East is a weird conference, which has a ton of basketball only schools that have no interest in football. This is what makes it such a poachable conference – it is hard to get a consensus when threatened by a more united conference.

I say drop the Big East and add the Mountain West as an auto-bid conference.

Didn’t everybody already know that the Big East was weak? Both the Harris and Coaches put TCU ahead of Cincy, which is pretty extraordinary.
