RT @ArashMarkazi Embarrassing by USC. Not only throwing the rub it in TD but taunting after the play and almost causing on-field riot.

Whoa, a near-brawl at Coliseum as UCLA players roam across field toward Trojan sideline after USC players jump around en masse after TD.

Pete Carroll responds to Neuheisel calling timeouts in garbage time with a Harbaugh-style, rub-it-in TD pass to make it 28-7 with :44 left.

RT @TrojanWire Remember when you could call USC a second half team? | Or a good team?

USC 7, fUCLA 0 at halftime. Not exactly an inspiring performance thus far.

Hard to believe, four games ago, Notre Dame was 6-2 and eyeing a BCS bid.

Irish finish 6-6 for second straight year. “If you think they hired me here to go .500, you got the wrong guy.” –Charlie Weis, 2004

Lots of Heisman talk on ABC. Toby Gerhart vs. Notre Dame 2009 = Carson Palmer vs. Notre Dame 2002?

Stanford wins, 45-38, thanks in large part to two huge sacks during ND’s final drive. Weis ends his Irish career with 4 straight losses.

Charlie Weis’s last major decision as Irish coach: allowing opponent to score an uncontested TD. A fitting end. (ND threatening, though.)

ND “lets” Stanford score TD so Irish offense can get ball back with 0:59 left. Probably smart, but not exactly a vote of confidence in D.

Stanford ties it up, 38-38, on halfback TD pass by Toby Gerhart + 2-pt conversion. 8:59 left. Meanwhile USC leads fUCLA 7-0, early 2nd Q.

Notre Dame leads Stanford, 24-20 at halftime. USC and UCLA are about to get underway. BEAT THE BRUINS & DRUNKEN TREES!!!

Assuming Florida wins (up 24-0 late in half), Texas-Nebraska will hold the key to all BCS scenarios, both at-large and title-game related.

World’s biggest Texas fans next week: Boise State, hoping for BCS at-large. World’s biggest Nebraska fans: TCU, hoping for title-game berth.

Oklahoma routs Okie State, 27-0: http://bit.ly/52lO2x. Boise State is likely BCS-bound unless Nebraska beats Texas.

That is all.
P.S. Okay, not quite all. One more thing:
Heh heh. Fight On Trojans!! Beat fUCLA!!
P.P.S. Also, Go Irish!! Beat the Drunken Trees!!

Alabama survives, as Auburn displays WORST. TIME MANAGEMENT. EVER. (Well, since LSU last week, anyway.) More heartbreak for TCU & Cincy.
Whoa, I didn’t realize Auburn & Alabama were playing so early today. It’s the 4th Q, and Auburn’s up 21-20! WAR EAGLE!! (I’m not convinced Alabama won’t still make the BCS title game, ahead of TCU or Cincinnati, if they lose today, then beat undefeated Florida next Saturday. But it’ll at least be a debate. LET’S GO CHAOS!!!)

NPR says shoppers are looking for deals, not buying volume, but I saw lots of people with VERY full shopping carts at Wal-Mart this morning.
