Huh? How are all of those teams going to finish with at least one loss? Prior to the SEC title game, Florida's just got Florida State left and Alabama's just got Auburn, and Texas just has A&M and then Nebraska for the conference title. If Florida loses to FSU but beats undefeated Bama, they're probably in anyway as the #2 team behind Texas; likewise if Alabama loses to Auburn but then beats undefeated Florida. If FL and Bama BOTH lose their SEC Championship warm-up game, maybe that equation changes, but otherwise, it all comes down to whether Texas will lose to a bad A&M team or a mediocre Nebraska team (with one really awesome player). Any of these things is certainly possible, but to say you're "pretty sure" they will "all" lose seems a bit overconfident.

I hope you're right, of course!

As it stands right now, TCU should get the nod over Texas. TCU has proved more on the field and Played better competition. The best team Texas has played is a really crappy Oklahoma team, and if Bradford hadn't gone down in the first quarter, OU would have won that 16-13 ballgame, without question. Having said that, I'm pretty sure Alabama, Florida, and Texas will all finish with at least one loss, so the Horned Frogs just might sneak in afterall. I hope they do, and blow out Alabama, that would redeem this 2009 season beyond all prior expectations.
