Former Boise coach Dan Hawkins, on the hot seat at Colorado, could do his old team a huge favor by stunning OK St. tomorrow, knocking the #12 Cowboys (8-2) out of the Fiesta Bowl picture and thus increasing the chances of TCU and Boise State both getting BCS bids. Without Okie State in the Top 14, the non-Boise at-large options dwindle.

In hindsight, it would seem that Hawkins made a very bad decision in leaving Boise. I mean, they have made more BCS bowls then the Buffs have at this point since he left, have they not?

The way things are going in Pullman, could be a job opening up there pretty soon. Dan Hawkins and Mike Price will be looking for work before long, could be a perfect fit.
