The first-ever issue of The Living Room Times was a one-page edition with a single article about the most mundane of topics: cold weather. But it reports on that cold weather from the unique perspective of Adollya, the "stuffed animal nation" that was the LRT's original target audience. (You can learn more about "Adollya" on my Glossary page.)

When I wrote up this newspaper, two days after my parents bought our family a computer for Christmas, I never imagined I would take the Living Room Times to school one day, let alone that it would become such a phenomenon or play a huge role in my life. I was just passing the time, writing about stuffed animals and weather.
