The only fair way for Florida to be national champion would be to have them beat OSU in Columbus, with the standard requisite # of tickets available to the Gator fans as any other home game.

How about some props for the ND Hoops team Mike Brey? I know a lot is going on with the BCS, but you are always the first to rip on him, so lets give some up here. The Irish just beat a ranked team on the road, are 6-1 and Brey pretty much outcoached Gary Williams who is considered one of the best coaches in the game. Williams had a press on the entire game, and the Irish were shreding and taking great shots, the defense has a totally different tone than it did last year. The Joyce center will be rocking come Thursday for Alabama.

*How about some love for the ND Hoops team and Mike Brey. First line should read that.

Back to schedule issues for a moment. Does anyone know the last time that Florida played on OOC game outside the state of Florida?
Not to keep you in suspense…it was in 1991 when they lost to Syracuse!!

How appropriate that Rice is playing in the New Orleans Bowl. Now if only my team had made it in as the opponent.

I’m psyched- there are some really good matchups. Boise St. against that Oklahoma defense, that should be interesting. And the Capital One Bowl looks pretty dynamite with Arkansas and Wisconsin (even though I’m still ticked about that silly rule that kept UW out of the BCS Bowls). And Georgia Tech v. West Virginia in the Gator Bowl should be a real barnburner too.
