This morning’s “Welsh Lullaby” brainstorm has blossomed into a major project. We’ve got 16 people (and counting) who want to sing the Chamber Choir classic at Sarah’s funeral, and Mr. Treggor has agreed to conduct us. We are planning to meet at JT’s clubhouse in Farmington at 9:00 AM Saturday to rehearse, and then we’ll head over to Cromwell for the 11:00 AM funeral. This is all contingent upon final approval from the LeFoll family, but that is looking pretty likely.
If you’re a choir alum who knows the song or can learn it quickly, and you want to participate, we welcome you with open arms! (Yes, that includes those who are too young or too old to actually have been in choir with Sarah.) If you want to join the tributem please e-mail me!
According to Mr. Treggor, we are especially in need of basses. C’mon, let’s go, bawkies!
For more information, you can e-mail me or call me at (860) 833-5833, or e-mail Steve Kenny at stephenkenny1[at]gmail.com, or call him at (860) 539-0276
Also, Erin DeRubbo is working on collecting donations and/or flowers (we’re still working out the details). If you want to contribute to whatever sort of collection we end up doing, you can call her at (860) 432-9553 or (339) 235-0750, or e-mail her at derubboe[at]aetna.com (during the day) or cedardee1021[at]yahoo.com (evenings), or IM her at cedardee26.

If I was anywhere near there, I’d sing bass for you.
The power of music. It always moves me.
